Have You Ever Thought About the Difference Between A Fighter, A Soldier, and A Warrior?

A Fighter – “…someone who chooses to fight for a purely ego-centric reason. He or she is seeking to gain something, whether it’s a trophy, money, fame, whatever. A fighter has a need to be ‘right,’ ‘best,’ ‘toughest,’ and a myriad of other self-grandizing [sic] reasons that drive them to ‘compete’ for a ‘number-one’ position. And, whether it’s a fist-fight, all-out war, or an argument between spouses, if the goal is to ‘win’ and cause the other to ‘lose,’ this is the mindset of the fighter.” And,

A Soldier – “….Where the fighter picks his own fights and does so for his own reasons. The soldier is a tool of the State and has no say in who he must fight or even whether the cause is just or agreeable to him.” And,

A Warrior – “…is uniquely poised between the two previous extremes…can be traced back to the most ancient of times when man began to see beyond his own limiting self-view. While he or she does engage in conflict of their own choosing, the reason that a warrior chooses to fight is almost always for a cause larger-than-self. A warrior understands the true scope and priorities in warfare and does not jump too quickly in deciding to engage a so-called enemy.

“And, while a warrior may also be a soldier, he or she chooses this path for the same ‘big-picture’ reason. He or she is free to choose the side that they will fight for, as opposed to having their fate chosen for them. The true warrior’s concern is not for political ‘right-ness’ or ‘self-righteousness.’ It is for the protection of what he or she has decided is important and worth protecting.

“As you can see, the question is really designed to lead the student to an understanding of how the individual’s heart – intent – or focus – is aligned. Leading from selfishness to selfless-ness, it can be seen for those with eyes to see.”

This, my friends, is why we were named: “NTWarriors” (not “NTFighters,” not “NTSoldiers”).

And we have each decided that Mark, the Neothink® Society along with its literature and the Twelve Visions Party®, are “…important and worth protecting.” This is how each NTW’s “…heart – intent – or focus – is aligned.” Now, our name may change in the future, but it will not likely change to NTFighters or NTSoldiers.

So, a third benefit of being an NTW is that I am reminded that “I” chose this path…no one made this choice for me. As a warrior, I can freely express myself as an individual…all the while remaining a part of the unified whole…working for the greater good – “the greater good” in this case being completion of testimonials, comments, and articles in order to raise the SEO and keep opposing forces (flamers voices) at bay.

A fourth benefit is that each time I write, I improve both my writing and my verbal skills – since organizing my words on the paper seems to also help organize my thoughts on the mind. I am good at writing now, but wasn’t so in the beginning and there are still some spots that need work. I always keep a grammar book at my side. I love my “Warriner’s English Grammar and Composition.” It’s a bit pricey, but it is so easy to use and to find things in. Making my documents on Microsoft Word (MS Word) helps me to catch both sentence structure and spelling errors, but I realize that it will not catch other types of mistakes, like for example: if I use “rain” or “reign,” when I really should’ve used “rein.” I once submitted a testimonial that spoke of our lives being “at steak” – LOL (which may have distracted a reader or two; I know it made me hungry). MS Word also doesn’t always catch when a word is missing…hehehe…this has been a problem for me, so I have learned to read the document out loud, carefully, to help cut-down on this.

A fifth benefit of being an NTW is that I have come to know some of the Neothink (NT) Members better. I’ve touched a bit more of the pulse of the NT Society and its plans and progress. This has made me feel myself to be more a part of the whole. You’ve heard the expressions “United we stand, divided we fall” and “Divide and conquer.” There are some forces out there that may grow in numbers, who are actively seeking to see us divided and fallen. They may try to usurp, force, hold back, blind, starve, or mislead – by physical, legislative, economic, political, agricultural, religious, medical, scientific, psychological operations (PSYOPS), “cognitive infiltration,” “doublespeak,” or by any other means.

You may want to inform yourselves as to what is out there regarding official, government sponsored “cognitive infiltration” as this will help you see why we need to stand united as one. In a search box on any internet search engine, type in the words: Cass Sunstein “cognitive infiltration” and then examine some of the resulting web pages. I know that none of us wants to be a segregated lone duck waiting for a hot round to pick us off. I won’t allow anyone or any institution to cause me to weaken, become disillusioned or disgruntled, or fall inactive. I will remain strong, firm in my resolve, active, and in-touch in seeing the NT movement successful on all fronts, large or small. Failure is not an option here. Success is crucial for the future of all humankind. Writing about these things stimulates us and gives us important positive reminders. Through thick and thin, we are growing as individuals and as One. I love it….

    Have you ever wondered what happened to the 56 men that initially signed the Declaration of Independence?

    Here are their statistics as researched in history…
    It seems that these, our founding fathers put their lives on the line in order to advance the freedom of all.

    Of the Declaration of Independence Signers….

    Five signers were captured by the British as traitors,

    and tortured before they died.

    Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.

    Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army;

    another had two sons captured.

    Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or

    hardships of the Revolutionary War.

    They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes,

    and their sacred honor.

    What kind of men were they?

    Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists.

    Eleven were merchants,

    nine were farmers and large plantation owners;

    men of means, well educated,

    but they signed the Declaration of Independence

    knowing full well that the penalty would be death if

    they were captured.

    Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and

    trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the

    British Navy. He sold his home and properties to

    pay his debts, and died in rags.

    Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British

    that he was forced to move his family almost constantly.

    He served in the Congress without pay, and his family

    was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him,

    and poverty was his reward.

    Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer,

    Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.

    At the battle of Yorktown , Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that

    the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson

    home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General

    George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed,

    and Nelson died bankrupt.

    Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed.

    The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months.

    John Hart was driven from his wife’s bedside as she was dying.

    Their 13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill

    were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests

    and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his

    children vanished.

    So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and

    silently thank these patriots. It’s not much to ask for the price they paid.

    Remember: our forefathers understood that the freedom they put in place for all came as a great price….

    We should not neglect our right to free speech and expression of ideas; especially when that freedom is being trampled and threatened.

    i’m a free spirit but also an american,i served my country for 20 years and i hate the direction it’s going now.and i hate the way so many people think that it’s the fed,gov is suppose to take care of them.it was never meant for that to happen.we are grown ups and we should be able to handle our own lives not the other way around.

    I’ve always known I was a free-thinker, but never could find the right group of people until I heard of NT and TVP. I live by George Orwell’s famous quote:

    In a time of Universay Deceit, Telling the Truth Is a Revolutionary Act.

    It’s also what I use to back up my arguements for TVP and NT. Many are getting fed up with the direction this country is going in, and something needs to drastically change.I really ruffled a few feathers on Facebook when someone slammed the TVP website as a hack site when in reality, it’s a fast-growing grassroots movement to depoliticize America, which many think can’t happen and that I know nothing about the real world. I know it can be done and determined to be a value creator where there will no longer be a need to lie.

    I’ve been a law abider and true blue American all of my life.Right now I just realized that some Neo-Cheeters are exorted money from my wife.My bosses wife has been stealing from me as well.Kids as low as 5TH to 6ST grade are dealing drugs at school.My fully conscousness can be a curse if I let it.All of these people need to be taken down.What to do is hard because all most every one here seems to be on the take.It really sickens me that there are so many of them.I’m consenttrating real hard on this one.What to do????
